January 6, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from this year Azerbaijan is to reduce tax and customs privileges and launch new trade initiatives.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the Concept & forecast indicators of Azerbaijan’s economic & social development for 2021 & the next 3 years.

The document says that serious innovations are expected in the field of privatization and non-cash payments.

According to the Concept, the country will start new tax initiatives to increase budget revenues. It is noted that those initiatives will serve as a fair distribution of the tax burden between individual sectors of the economy.

"The new tax initiatives will be defined with the purpose to ensure fair distribution and harmonization of the tax burden in certain sectors of the economy," the Concept says.
