January 6, Fineko/abc.az. At the moment SOCAR does not plan mass staff reduction.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Ibrahim Ahmadov, deputy head of the SOCAR Public Relations & Event Organization Department, when commenting on the order signed by SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev.

He noted that in the context of the pandemic, many of the world's leader oil companies have experienced reductions: "Similar massive reductions were observed in many of the world's leading oil companies. SOCAR, within the framework of its social responsibility and, as far as the budget allows, is looking for a way out of the situation in other areas, trying to prevent staff cuts, ensure operational sustainability, using such possible tools as reducing production costs, wages in the management apparatus."

It should be noted that SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev signed an order on certification of employees at enterprises and organizations that are part of the SOCAR structure.
