A large sum to be financed for programs in the field of agriculture

January 7, Fineko/abc.az. This year's budget also envisages more than AZN 460 million for programs in the field of agriculture.

ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov made the relevant statement at the video-format meeting on the results of 2020, chaired by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Sharifov, allocation of certain subsidies to farmers is expected at the expense of these finances.

"It is also planned to allocate money for financing food, for crop areas and for financing other new subsidy mechanisms," the minister added.
