Azerbaijani gas has reached Greece

January 8, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani natural gas extracted from the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea and transported to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has already been delivered to Greek consumers.

ABC.AZ reports that the first Azerbaijani gas has already been successfully transferred to Greek consumers through Greek gas distribution network DEPA.

It is reported that thanks to the implementation of the TAP project and the conclusion of an agreement with DEPA, Greece has strengthened its participation in the EU’s strategic project on the joining the Southern Gas Corridor and strengthening the diversification of sources and routes of natural gas supplies to Europe.
