January 11, Fineko/abc.az. The reconstruction of highway Ujar-Zardab-Aghjabedi has been completed.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Motor Road Agency of Azerbaijan (GAADA) that the Ujar-Zardab-Aghjabedi road starts at the entrance to the city of Ujar and ends in the south of the city of Aghjabedi, where at the 70th km it connects with the R18 Mingachevir-Bahramtepe national highway.

The road was upgraded in accord with the 2nd degree with the preservation of existing traffic directions.

Within the project the width of one lane of the two-lane road is 3.75 m, and the total width of the road is 15 m. The thickness of the three-layer roadway as a whole is 0.9 m and the thickness of the asphalt concrete surface is 27 cm inclusive. As part of the project, 9 underground passages, 30 bus stops, 26 water outlets were built on this road, and 74 water pipes of various diameters were installed.
