Incidence of coronavirus rapidly decreases in Azerbaijan

January 14, Fineko/abc.az. The percentage of infection among people who have passed tests for coronavirus has significantly decreased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that after the introduction of strict quarantine since 14 December last year, the incidence of coronavirus has reduced much in the country.

Last December, when the coronavirus was at its peak, the infection rate exceeded 20%, and the virus was detected in 4,323 people out of 20,778 who passed the test on 5 December.

According to statistics for 13 January 2021, the infection rate has lowered much. The virus was detected in 474 people out of 8,052 who passed the tests that makes about 5.9% of the total number of those who passed the tests). This suggests that the infection rate has dropped to 15%.
