Georgia's foreign trade turnover has sharply fallen

January 14, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia's foreign trade turnover totaled $11.347 bn for the past year.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the preliminary report of the Georgian National Statistics Office. According to the document, the figure is by 14.8% less than in 2019.

Last year, country's export fell by 12% to $3.342 bn and imports by 15.9% to $8.006 bn.

As a result, deficit of $4.66 bn was formed in foreign trade, the share of which in the total trade turnover made up 41.1%.
