TANAP can bring $1.5 bn of annual income to Azerbaijan


January 14, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of annual gross income of Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) after reaching its full capacity has been announced.

ABC.AZ reports that TANAP consortium’s CEO Saltuk Duzyol said about this at a press conference.

He noted that gas supplies to Europe via TANAP will gradually increase, and in 2022 the volume of deliveries will amount to 10.5 bn cu m. Annual income from TANAP operations from 2022 (after the pipeline reaches full capacity) will exceed $1.5 bn.

"TANAP is a completely profitable project. This is a project that will bring a lot of money to the investor of the project. It will bring particularly large earnings to its shareholder, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR)," Duzyol said.
