Russian FM Sergey Lavrov: Independence of Nagorno-Karabakh is recognized by no one

January 18, Fineko/abc.az. In connection with the possible inclusion of Nagorno-Karabakh into the Russian Federation, I would like to say that the independence of Karabakh has not been recognized by anyone.

ABC.AZ reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made such a statement at a press conference on the results of the activities of the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry in 2020.

He noted that the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh is not recognized by anyone, including Armenia.

"We believe that all issues in the region should be resolved between the countries located here, and first of all between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This will help the Russian Federation find a solution that will ensure peace, stability and security in this region," Lavrov added.
