Another gold field discovered in Azerbaijan

January 19, Fineko/abc.az. One of the leading gold mining companies in Azerbaijan, Anglo Asian Mining Plc, has discovered a new gold and copper field Zafar in the central part of contract zone Gedabek.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the company that this field was discovered as a result of mapping a regional exploration site.

Anglo Asian Mining’s CEO Rza Veziri said that the company was doing the necessary work to prepare the JORC assessment for the new field and determine the best way to commercially exploit the minerals.
