January 26, Fineko/abc.az. The anti-corruption measures are to be tightened.

ABC.AZ reports that this was declared at the government members’ meeting on 25 January. It was noted that this year the government made a decision about a number of priorities, among which are as follows:

the anti-corruption measures that should be consistent and cover all the governmental bodies; each of the proposals submitted to the government by the central executive authorities should provide for mechanisms and elements of combating corruption, cases of abuse should be flatly prevented; it is necessary to restore economic growth in the current year and prevent inflationary trends; foreign exchange reserves should be managed effectively.
