January 27, Fineko/abc.az. I’ve said, and I want to say again: our scientists, specialists should provide full details about the conformity of our history to reality, not to hide our history.

ABC.AZ reports President Ilham Aliyev made the above-mentioned statement when receiving Aydin Kerimov in connection with his appointment as president’s special representative in Shusha district.

The president noted that we do not need false history.

"How many times have we encountered a false history in Soviet times? Our heroes were presented as enemies, and the enemies of our people, the bloodsuckers, were presented as heroes. 26 Baku commissars – this Armenian-Bolshevik bandit group was presented as heroes, and the patriots who fought with them as enemies. We've seen it. Our generation knows what a false history is. Now again, someone wants to create a fake history. Again, someone wants to wash away the guilt of this or that deserter, traitor, coward. We can't let that happen. Everyone should know who sold the lands and who freed them from captivity," the president stressed.
