January 28, Fineko/abc.az. The National Export Strategy has been prepared and sent to the Azerbaijani Cabinet Ministers for consideration by the main executive structures.

ABC.AZ reports that this was announced by AZPROMO’s acting head Yusif Abdullayev.

He noted that the National Export Strategy will be submitted to the Cabinet at the end of September.

"The process was postponed because of the pandemic. The 5-year strategy is being drafted with the participation of experts from the European Union. The goal is to increase nonoil export by the end of 2025. The national export strategy will define the main framework for export-oriented economic development in Azerbaijan, including the promotion and legal regulation of exports, as well as the main policy of companies on export orientation," Abdullayev emphasized.
