Microsoft’s income grew by 17%

February 1, Fineko/abc.az. The financial indicators of one of the largest companies in the world, Microsoft, have been unveiled.

ABC.AZ reports that Microsoft's revenue for the past quarter ended on 31 December 2020 increased by 17% (versus the same period of last fiscal year) up to $43.1 bn.

Operating profit for the reported term grew by 29%, reaching $17.9 bn, and the net income was $15.5 bn (a rise of 33%).

Experts expected that company's earnings would barely exceed $40 bn, and the profit would be about $15 bn.

Diluted earnings per share rose to $2.03 from $1.51 for the 2nd quarter of the previous fiscal year.
