February 2, Fineko/abc.az. In an interview for Azerbaijani television, President Ilham Aliyev spoke about the process of returning internally displaced persons to the territories liberated from the occupation.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of state noted that all the work is carried out consistently.

He noted that he has repeatedly told the Azerbaijani people about this sequence, so that people know what kind of work we will do.

"First of all, when the former settlers will be able to return to these lands. The first is mine clearance. This is a big process. The Armenians don't give us maps of the mined areas. Therefore, explosions occur very often. We are currently reorganizing the Mine Clearance Agency, and its activities will be more effective. But it will take some time. The work related to mine clearance, of course, must be completed."
