Over 27.8 million tons of crude and condensate exported via BTC for 2020

February 4, Fineko/abc.az. About $111 million was spent on operating expenditures for Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC), and about $29 million on capital expenditures, ABC.AZ informs with reference to BP-Azerbaijan’s report Business Operations 2020.

Since the pipeline was commissioned in June 2006 until the end of 2020 it was transported over 475 million tons of crude (3.57 bn barrels) via BTC, loaded into 4,659 tankers in Ceyhan and shipped to world markets. Last year more than 27.8 million tons of crude oil and condensate (about 211 million barrels) were exported via BTC and loaded on 278 tankers in Ceyhan.
