Capacity of Shah Deniz plants is 56 million cu m a day

February 4, Fineko/abc.az. The Shah Deniz Consortium spent $1.942 bn on the development of this field last year, ABC.AZ informs with reference to BP-Azerbaijan’s report Business Operations 2020.

According to the report, the vast majority of capital expenditures related to the Shah Deniz Project 2.

In total, about 18.1 bn standard cu m of gas and 3.6 million tons (29 million barrels) of condensate were extracted from the field in 2020 from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms.

The production capacity of the existing Shah Deniz plants is currently 56 million (more than 20 bn) standard cu m a day.
