Turkey has given financial aid to Georgia

February 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Marneuli military airport is to be restored as part of the military assistance rendered to Georgia by Turkey in 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the Agreement on military & financial cooperation between the Georgian and Turkish government signed last year.

Under this agreement, the cost of military assistance allocated by the Turkish government to Georgia is 100 million Turkish liras.

The agreement also says that this assistance should be used within 5 years. Turkish-made equipment will be delivered to Georgia as part of this assistance. Besides, the Marneuli airport will be upgraded.
