AQTA warns entrepreneurs about measures to be taken

17:35 - 8.02.2021

February 8, Fineko/abc.az. The scale of control and inspection in public catering facilities by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA) is expanding.

ABC.AZ was informed at AQTA that given the direct impact of a tight cluster of people on the intensity of the disease spread during pandemic of coronavirus (Covid-19), consumers and employees working at the catering facility need to observe certain rules of conduct in order to prevent infection cases or virus spreading at the catering facility.

Under law, the reception of customers in public catering establishments should be twice-less than the current rules and regulations, and, accordingly, the area determined per person should be doubled.

In addition, in compliance with the legislation, a responsible person should be appointed to supervize public catering facilities and the relevant information about this person should be submitted to the Agency.

Otherwise, administrative measures will be taken against these business entities in accord with the legislation requirements.
