A criminal case initiated against Neftchala municipality’s chair

February 9, Fineko/abc.az. A criminal case has been initiated against the chairman of the Neftchala Municipality.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Neftchala district prosecutor's office, an investigation is underway against the chairman of the municipality of the village of Khol Garabujag, Gismet Gafarov, who committed illegal actions.

It was established that Gafarov, abusing his official powers, appropriated the property of the municipality in the amount of 7,650 manats, spending money on personal needs.

In fact, the case was initiated under Article 179.2.3 (embezzlement by a person using official position).
