February 9, Fineko/abc.az. The consumer price index for nonfoods observed growth of 2.5% for January 2021 (versus December 2019).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the CPI growth for nonfoods in January is linked with an increase in retail prices for gasoline AI-92 and diesel fuel, and for cotton fabrics, oil and water-based paints, wallpaper, sawn boards, bricks, cement, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, TV-sets, laptops and jewelry.

There were no significant changes in the prices of other nonfoods.
