Banker released from custody

February 15, Fineko/abc.az. The measure of restraint against Ulvi Ildırımzade, a member of the Supervisory Board of Amrah Bank and the Board of Directors of AmrahSığorta, has been changed.

ABC.AZ reports that on the basis of the request of the defender, the Sabail District Court replaced the measure of restraint against Ulvi Ildirimzadeh from the custody to the house arrest.

Ulvi Yildirimzade is accused of embezzlement on a particularly large scale (more than AZN 500,000), official forgery.

By the decision of the Board of the Central Bank from 28 April 2020, the license of Amrah Bank was revoked.

Ildirimzade is the son of the owner of AmrahBank Yunis Ildirimzade. His uncle, Yusif Ildirimzadeh, served as a prosecutor for a long time, and is currently retired.
