Volume of public procurement grew almost by 15%

February 17, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of public procurement for 2020 was carried out for AZN 6.567 bn, including electronic appliances for AZN 930 million.

ABC.AZ reports that this was announced by Mammad Abbasbeyli, deputy head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Control & Consumer Market Supervision.

He added that the volume of public procurement in 2020 increased by 14.8% compared with 2019: "The share of public procurement by tender amounted to AZN 3.5 bn (a rise of 31.2%). According to the request for proposals, the volume of purchases amounted to AZN 1.236 bn, open tenders AZN 1.22 bn, and quotations AZN 111.5 million.”
