February 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor’s General Office conducted an investigation into the criminal case initiated against Yegana Nagiyeva, the former director of Avangard Travel LLC, and Adalyat Nagiyev, the founder of this company, on the basis of numerous appeals from citizens received during the "question-answer" session held on the page of the Prosecutor General's Office in "Instagram" in connection with violation of laws by them in the performance of official duties.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office that in the course of operational and investigative measures the grounds for suspicion were established that during the period of work in this position, Yegana Nagiyeva and her husband Adalyat, presenting themselves as professionals with long experience in the field of tourism and making false promises to create a joint business and receive high incomes, committed fraud, causing damage to 14 persons for totally AZN 2.435 million.

In fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 178.4, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen against Yegana Nagiyeva. Adalat Nagiyev was taken under the supervision of the police.
