Azerbaijani citizens' trips abroad reduced more than 15-fold


February 19, Fineko/abc.az. Compared with January 2020, this January’s number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad decreased by 15.6 times to 27,800 people.

ABC.AZ reports that 48.1% of our country's citizens went to Turkey, 14.8% to the Russian Federation, 10.4% to Georgia, 8.7% to Iran, 18.0% to other countries, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Border Service.

Men made up 77.2% and women 22.8% of those leaving.

Last month the quantity of Azerbaijani citizens traveling to Iran declined 68.1-fold, to Georgia 45.1-fold, to Russia 17.8-fold, and to Turkey 3.2-fold compared with January 2020.
