February 22, Fineko/ abc.az. Saleh Mammadov, the chairman of board of the Azerbaijan State Motor Road Agency, has held a briefing today.

Touching upon a range of important issues, he also spoke about highway Baku-Hajigabul-Minjivan.

According to Mammadov, the construction of the 101-km section of Baku-Hajigabul-Minjivan road running to Shusha has been fully completed.

He noted that the 61-km section of the road is not cleared of mines.

"Only a 6-7 m section of the road has been cleared of mines. Currently, as the territory is cleared of mines, the construction of the road is being provided. It will be put into operation by the end of August. As an alternative, the construction of a new road from Ahmadbeyli village in the direction of Goradiz has started. The roadbed from zero km to 11.5 km is ready," Agency’s representative stressed.
