February 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency’s representatives have held a press conference today.

ABC.AZ reports that the issues related to the tourism strategy in the territories liberated from the Armenian occupation were clarified at the press conference.

It was noted that, in general, this is a long-term strategy.

"The restoration of life in these territories will take some time. The tourism potential of the liberated lands is huge. In general, we are talking about creating a tourist product in this region, dividing it into clusters, evaluating tourism in the region, and conducting research. You can engage in ecotourism, agrotourism, winter tourism, nature tourism and health tourism.

The Kelbajar and Zangilan districts have potential related to health tourism, but after the development of the concept of tourism development, it will be indicated in which district a particular type of tourism is planned, " he said.
