February 25, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Shagan Rehabilitation Boarding House in Khazar district of Baku after major repairs.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of state got acquainted with the conditions created in the boarding house.

The boarding house was put into operation in 2003, and last year it was renovated.

The 250-bed reconstructed boarding house can accommodate up to 5,000 patients a year.

This medical facility will render services to people suffering from heart and cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal system, nervous and endocrine diseases.

The main services are functional diagnostics, physiotherapy, therapeutic baths, physical therapy, social and psychological rehabilitation.
