Oil falls in cost, and Brent is at $62.74 a barrel

March 2, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for standard grades of oil are falling in Tuesday’s trading amid the strengthening of the US dollar.

According to index ICE Dollar, the value of the dollar is rising by 0.2% against the six major world currencies.

By 9:50 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of May’s Brent crude oil futures declined by $0.95 (1.49%) to $62.74 a barrel. At the end of trading on 1 March the Brent futures for May fell in price by $0.73 (1.13%) to $63.69 per barrel.

By 9:50 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of April’s WTI oil futures decreased by $0.91 (1.50%) to $59.73 per barrel. At the end of trading on 1 March the WTI futures for April fell by $0.86 (1.40%) to $60.64 per barrel.
