Safar Mehdiyev: A family of 4 people can import up to $1,200 a month

March 4, Fineko/abc.az. The limit of goods imported by individuals from abroad ($300) also includes the cost of delivery.

ABC.AZ reports that State Customs Committee’s chairman Safar Mehdiyev said at a press conference today.

Mehdiyev noted that according to calculations, the cost of 83-87% of goods imported by individuals into the country does not exceed $300: "If there are 4 people in a family, they can import goods worth up to $1,200 within a month. That's a pretty big number. If the government decides to raise this limit from $300 up to $500, we’ll implement this decision."
