March 10, Fineko/abc.az. Friendly countries Azerbaijan and Hungary should step up cooperation in the field of economy and trade, stated President Ilham Aliyev when receiving Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs & Trade Peter Szijjarto in a video format.

ABC.AZ reports that during the meeting the head of state noted that, in particular, after the liberation of our territories from the Armenian occupation, there are many opportunities in the field of reconstruction.

"These territories are completely destroyed, and you are probably familiar with these videos. They are destroyed, and we must rebuild these territories from scratch. Speech is about a large part of Azerbaijan – over 10,000 sq km, and we want to do this work in cooperation with our partners. I’ve already publicly stated several times that we’ll invite companies from friendly countries for cooperation. Hungary is one of the closest friends of Azerbaijan. I’m sure Hungarian companies will also have many opportunities to work together with us in the liberated territories," the president said.
