Income from foreign currency assets amounted to $93.65 million in 2020


March 15, Fineko/ The Central Bank continued to cooperate with foreign managers in the management of foreign exchange reserves in 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that the efficiency of investment portfolios was further enhanced by using the services of external managers, and measures were taken to transfer international best practices to internal management.

In 2020, Central Bank’s foreign exchange reserves increased by $112 million, or 1.8%, and by the end of the period amounted to $6.4 bn. The income from the management of foreign currency assets totaled $93.65 million.
