PM Ali Asadov: Azerbaijan’s Fund to Fight the Pandemic raised AZN 114 million

March 16, Fineko/abc.az. All the resources of Azerbaijan have been involved in the fight against the pandemic on the instructions of the head of state.

ABC.AZ reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov stated this during the discussion of Cabinet Ministers’ report for 2020 at today's meeting of Milli Majlis.

He noted that last year healthcare costs in connection with the pandemic totaled AZN 644 million.

"AZN 114 million were gathered for the Fund to Fight the Pandemic, and vaccines were purchased and delivered to our country at the expense of the Fund. To date, about 460,000 people have already been vaccinated," Asadov said.
