Central Bank reports about an increase of credit investments in banking sector

March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The credit investments in the banking sector in Azerbaijan increased by AZN 32.3 million up to AZN 14.246 bn in February 2021 and by AZN 56.8 million for January, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to CBA’s report, in February the household deposits increased by AZN 177 million up to AZN 8.379 bn.

For comparison, it should be noted that in January population’s deposits of grew by AZN 25 million.

The total assets of the Azerbaijani banking sector as of 1 March 2021 amounted to AZN 32.2 bn (0.8% more than the monthly figure).
