Countries of world increased rate of bond issuance

March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The issuance of the countries' bonds until 25 March 2021 increased by 79% compared with the same period of 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that the pace of bond issuance has also increased, while governments are ramping up financial incentives to reduce the economic damage from the pandemic.

The U.S. and Japan sold the largest issues for $4.1 trillion and $1.7 trillion, respectively.

Poland, Turkey, Argentina, Nigeria and Russia reduced their bond issuance.
