March 31, Fineko/abc.az. The national currency is losing its value against the US dollar in some neighboring countries. So, in Turkey, the lira is already going to become cheaper, and the same thing is happening in Russia.

ABC.AZ reports that economist, MP Vugar Bayramov commented on the impact of this trend on the Azerbaijani manat.

He noted that both Turkey and Russia are important trade partners for Azerbaijan.

"Our trade turnover with Turkey is about $4.5 bn and with Russia – more than $3 bn. This makes up 23% of our total foreign trade. In this regard, it is also advisable to expand activities to minimize the impact of economic and financial changes in our main trading partners on our foreign trade turnover," Bayramov said.
