Mold fungi found in Al Market products

April 1, Fineko/abc.az. As part of the control measures taken by Food Safety Agency’s inspectors, the inspection of products from cumin and black pepper imported in Azerbaijan from Turkey by Al Market LLC was carried out.

ABC.AZ was informed at AQTA that samples of imported products were selected and transferred to the appropriate laboratory of the Azerbaijan Institute of Food Safety.

As a result of the research, mold fungi were found in 420 kg of cumin and 180 kg of black pepper.

In connection with the revealed fact, appropriate measures were taken in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
