April 1, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from 5 April the secondary schools of some cities and districts of Azerbaijan will switch to distance learning.

ABC.AZ reports that Education Minister Emin Amrullayev commented on this issue on his Facebook page.

The minister noted that today a decision was taken to transfer education to distance form in the areas with predominance of the number of infection cases (Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Sheki and Absheron district).

"The analysis shows that more than 80% of infections in the last week are in these areas. Where there are fewer cases of infection, education will be conducted in full-time, but in case of an increase in cases of infection, it is also planned to transfer to distance learning," the minister said.
