March 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources made a warning about weather changes in Azerbaijan.

The Ministry reports that from the second half of March 9, on the morning of March 10, unstable weather conditions are expected in Baku and Absheron peninsula.

"A strong northwestern wind prevail in Baku and on Absheron peninsula, and in some areas rain, which occassionally may become intense, is expected. In comparison with the previous days, the air temperature will drop by 5-7 degrees," the report says.

The ministry's message says that from the second half of March 9 to the second half of March 10, unstable weather conditions are expected in the regions of Azerbaijan with occasional rains and snow, sometimes intense, in the mountains.

"The western wind will prevail at times in Azerbaijani regions. In comparison with the previous days, the air temperature will drop by 5-8 degrees. The water level in the rivers may rise, "the report said.
