April 5, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has received Zaur Mikayilov in a video format on the occasion of his appointment to the post of the chairman of Azerbaijan Melioration & Water Management Company.

ABC.AZ reports that at the reception the head of state said: "You’ve been appointed to the position of the chairman of Azerbaijan Melioration & Water Management Company. This area is one of the priorities. I’ve always paid great attention to this sphere. Today, under the current conditions, its importance is even more increasing. A lot of work has been done in this area in recent years. Large work was carried out to repair the old infrastructure, as the main infrastructure was created in the Soviet era and eventually fell into disrepair, so there was a need for it. At the same time, several large reservoirs were built on my initiative. If these water reservoirs were not built on time, we could have big problems in the field of land reclamation today," President Aliyev said.
