April 5, Fineko/abc.az. "Some time ago, while studying this question, I gave instructions to prepare and submit proposals for the creation of new small reservoirs."

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev stated this during the video-format reception in connection with the appointment of Zaur Mikayilov to the post of the chairman of Azerbaijan Melioration & Water Management Company.

"Such proposals were made. I approved these proposals in principle, and it is planned to build 10 new reservoirs," the president said.

The head of state spoke about the money allocated for the construction of reservoirs: "The construction of each reservoir requires a lot of money. Now it is necessary to lay channels, take other measures. All these funds are provided by the State Budget. But we need to see how much the funds invested in this area correspond to the result. What kind of result we will get and make in return for the invested funds. Because if it is not properly calculated, our work will never be effective."
