Oil falls in cost, and Brent is at $62.68 a barrel

April 12, Fineko/abc.az. Benchmark oil prices are decreasing on Monday amid an increase in the incidence of coronavirus, which can lead to sharp reduction in the demand.

By 9:45 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the June’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.27 (0.43%) to $62.68 per barrel. Following the trading on 9 April the price of Brent crude oil futures for June fell by $0.25 (0.40%) to $62.95 per barrel.

By 9:45 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of May’s WTI oil futures declined by $0.26 (0.44%) to $59.06 per barrel. At the end of trading on 9 April the WTI futures for May dropped in price by $0.28 (0.47%) to $59.32 per barrel.

Following the past week, Brent fell by 2.9% and WTI by 3.5%.
