Cost of oil grows, and Brent is at $63.56 a barrel

April 13, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are rising in Tuesday’s trading, in anticipation of signals about the growth of consumer demand. In addition, the market is supported by significant progress in vaccination against coronavirus in some countries, which somewhat levels the increase in the infection rate around the world.

By 9:00 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the June’s Brent crude futures increased by $0.28 (0.44%) up to $63.56 per barrel. Following the trading on 12 April the price of Brent crude oil futures for June grew by $0.33 (0.52%) up to $63.28 per barrel.

By 9:00 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the May’s WTI oil futures increased by $0.25 (0.42%) up to $59.95 per barrel. At the end of trading on 12 April the WTI futures for May rose in price by $0.38 (0.64%) up to $59.70 per barrel.
