Japan’s company invests in construction of tobacco drying station in Zagatala district

April 13, Fineko/abc.az. Japanese company Tet International Development is building a new tobacco drying station in Zagatala district.

ABC.AZ reports that work on installation of 120 chambers for drying tobacco is currently underway at this processing point, located on the territory of Ashagi Tala village of the district.

Reps of the company reported that 6 tons of wet tobacco are placed in each of these chambers produced in Azerbaijan.

The process of drying tobacco takes 7 days. The tobacco drying chambers will be fully ready for the tobacco collection season.
