Average monthly size of old-age pensions has increased

April 14, Fineko/abc.az. The growth of pensions, which are an important component of the social safety system, continued in the 1st quarter of 2021.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that the average monthly pension amount for Jan-Mar grew by 11.8% versus early 2011. Thus, it reached 332 manats as of 1 April.

In particular, the average monthly amount of old-age pensions reached 362.3 manats (10.7% more against early 2011).
