April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Despite the pandemic, our trade turnover increased last year, and exports from Azerbaijan to Belarus observed growth as well.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev stated about this in the course of the tete-a-tete meeting with Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.

He noted that the questions related to industrial cooperation will also be discussed in more detail today.

"According to our decision, the industrial enterprise in Ganja has been functioning for a long time. I’d also like to discuss with You the matters related to the restoration of Karabakh. We know Belarusian companies’ experience on creation of agro-industrial complexes in Belarus, so of course, this topic occupies a special place in terms of restoring the liberated territories. Certainly it gladdens that we continue and will continue to support each other in the international organizations in which we participate. Our regular contacts allow us to simply sum up what has been done, plan the next steps and move forward as two friends, partners. Welcome again and I’m glad to see you again in Baku," President Aliyev said.
