16:18 - 14.04.2021

April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Russia has announced the termination of regular and charter flights to Turkey and Tanzania from 15 April to 1 June.

ABC.AZ reports that immediately after the announcement, there was a stir in the Turkish tourism market.

Thus, Russia's suspension of flights to the above-said countries indicates serious damage to the tourism industry.

According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia( ATOR), during the suspension of flights with Turkey, 533,200 Russians booked tours to this country, of which more than 40% are families with children.

This means a total of 35 billion rubles. This amount does not include the expenses of tourists who have booked hotels and air tickets themselves.
