Consumer spending on alcoholic beverages and tobacco products has increased

April 14, Fineko/abc.az. The amount that consumers spent on beverages and tobacco products in the retail network of Azerbaijan for Jan-Mar of this year has been published.

ABC.AZ informs that according to State Statistics Committee’s report, AZN 548.8 million were spent on these products for the first 3 months of 2021. This figure increased by 9.1%, or AZN 46 million compared with the same term of 2020.

In March of this year the sales volume amounted to AZN 167.9 million (8.8% or AZN 16.3 million less than in February).
