Penalties to be applied for non-payment of mandatory health insurance fees

April 23, Fineko/abc.az. The proposed bill with the amendments to the Criminal Code has been submitted for discussion in the 1st reading at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

ABC.AZ reports that in compliance with the amendments the evasion of payment of contributions on the mandatory health insurance is punishable by a fine of 2 up to 3-fold size of the amount of the damage caused, or correctional labor for up to 2 years, or imprisonment for up to 3 years with a possible ban on engaging in certain activities or holding a certain position.

The bill was put to the vote and passed in the 1st reading.
