April 28, Fineko/abc.az. The ADB forecasts the growth of industrial production in Azerbaijan at the level of 2.1% in 2021 and 2.9% in 2022 due to the increase in gas production and the revival in the construction sector,

The annual growth in agriculture in 2021-22 will be 3.5% due to government support and easier access to finance for farmers, including new subsidies to reduce production costs.

The government's plans to restore the territories affected by the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia will give a serious impetus to construction in 2021 and 2022.

The ADB predicts that as a result of the recovery in retail trade and tourism, the services sector will grow by 2.8% in 2021 and by 4% in 2022.
